How are the cards dealt in Poker?

Each player is dealt cards one at a time going clockwise.

The first card dealt goes to the position to the immediate left of the player with the dealer button, the deal continues around the table in a clockwise direction and the distribution of cards that are dealt to players ends with dealer button position receiving final card.
