Best time to play poker

I’m pretty new here so can anyone give me any tips on the best time to play EST as far as traffic for tournaments? Thank you in advance for the help

6PM or later is more of the bigger buy in tournaments with bigger prize pools, Earlier than that has more lower stake tournaments with smaller player fields . Depends on what you are looking for.

Tourney traffic is largely driven by the schedule, so evenings and Sundays are the best/busiest times to play. If you can do the buy in, the $162 250K GTD on Sunday is a must play. I have a buddy who won it a few weeks ago for $59K :hushed:

For cash games, evenings and weekends are going to generally have the softest games. Especially Friday and Saturday evening. Weekday during the day tends to be a lot of grinders mostly.

Yeah Sunday has more MTTS and the biggest so starting earlier is a good idea.

Wow I bet your friend was so fired up, nice win. So when you are referencing times, like weekends at night for soft games and grinders on weekdays. What time zone are you using when describing these times? Thanks for the info also

I’m in US central time. But since most (maybe all?) of the players in ignition are from the US, the time zone shouldn’t matter too much.

I didn’t know most players were from the US

@Blondie yes, we have bodog for South America, Mexico, Canada and Bodog88 for Asia.

Just to clarify, everyone using Ignition is from the US. However, Ignition shares a player pool with Bovada, Bodog, and Bodog88. So you are playing against people from all over
