Tonight, on September 1, I lost connection to my poker games twice. It was not my Internet connection!

Anyway, the first time I had QQ (hand 4154632922) in a tournament. After I lost connectivity, I managed to re-seat myself and play the hand. But it was close: I had only a couple of seconds to spare. I got lucky on that lost connection. I did not lose any money; I just had the frustration.

Then I opened two HLH cash games .25/.50. After playing for a few minutes, I picked up JJ and raised to $1.50. Then it happened again! I lost connectivity and got this message for the second time: “We are unable to establish a connection to the server.” (or something like that) I lost that connection after I raised, so I was out the $1.50. I could not get back onto that game because it was a cash game! I do not have a hand number for the JJ because I was not connected.

After the second incident, I was done! No more poker for me tonight. My experience with Ignition, at which I have played for six months, has not been a satisfactory one.

There was an issue during this time that our support team were able to resolve, but I’m sorry to hear that it affected your experience.

Just happened to me just now. Had AA on one table, but it’s okay, only level 1. They probably would’ve gotten cracked anyways.

never had it happen before so much like now and the only thing i changed was just switching to 9max

i almost never had the poker client crash while playing 6max
but
because 6max games were not filling and staying at 3-4max for 20+mins at a time i moved all tables to 9max.

just had to relog in due to a shutdown
was playing 4 tables 9max when it says lost internet connection on the lobby only but all tables still worked then it closed everything

i relog with 20 seconds and was not able to rejoin all the tables i was on.

The client randomly shut down on me yesterday while playing in a few tournaments. This bug is costly and needs to be addressed.

Happened to me 1 time yesterday also with same error message, brings me to the login screen. After eventually opening back up all my tables, I noticed a few sitting out too, they might’ve gotten kicked off at the same time. Hate having the fear that we might get kicked off after we committed a lot of chips during a hand, very frustrating and tilting. Hopefully this bug gets fixed.

Yes it is the same error. The poker client abruptly disconnects and closes all open tables without giving a warning about being disconnected and doesn’t try to reconnect. The client then shows the message I attached in the previous pic.

Normally when I have a problem with my internet and I get disconnected from Ignition the poker client will display a message saying that I am disconnected and that it is is trying to reconnect. In the instances described in this thread the poker client isn’t trying to reconnect and just disconnects instantly. At the same time everything else I am running the internet on is working fine so I don’t think it is my internet having issues.

yup that has also been my experience…

it is not a normal disconnect…it is more like a game crash kick you off all tables but it says lost internet but i never did lose internet connection because everything else running on my cpu is fine.

and then instantly i am able to relog into the poker client and do the capcha and after i do the capcha then it goes to the black screen (one time a white screen). then i have to close it down and restart it and instantly it works.

so it is not my internet and it does not save the tables in cash games.

i can be in the middle of a hand and just lose.

It just closed my 6 tables. Brought me to login screen, but it didn’t let me login. Had to close and open again, was able to login, but lost all of my notes from last couple hours, blows!
Super tilted, don’t even want to write notes anymore. Can’t wait for this session to be over, hopefully profit for the day.

The client just disconnected while I was in the middle of playing a few tournaments. This bug is still happening regularly and costing players money. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

I wasn’t really doing uninstalls because I haven’t had those disconnects like I used to have. But I was getting this crash like once a day. But 2 days ago, I did a full uninstall because I was tired of these crashes. Not sure if it was the reason, but I had 2 no-crash sessions since.

this issue still happens almost nightly for me it’s so infuriating. do you realize how much money it costs the crashed players?

@bbqbowser I’m sorry to hear about your frustration. Have any troubleshooting steps been attempted?

If so, can you let us know what you tried and we’ll be able to look into other options.

This hasn’t happened to me in weeks. I turned off show all-in %'s in settings as it was also causing single tables to freeze. Maybe a coincidence but it might help someone.
