… is National Bagel Day in the United States, an unofficial holiday that celebrates the bagel, a popular bread product beloved by many Americans.
The holiday was originally celebrated on February 9, which coincided with National Pizza Day, but thanks to an initiative started by Thomas’ Breads in 2014, bagels finally got their own day to shine. The circular, doughy bread was originally created in 1610 in Krakow, Poland
