iPad game unresponsive, lost money

Hi friends, odd issue here on my iPad where I’ll play a tournament and sometimes the mobile app will freeze, reload, and I’ll be unable to hit any buttons. This occurs on Safari, Edge, and Chrome. I’ve restarted my iPad, logged out and restarted, deleted cookies, enabled trackers (hot jar?) and this issue persists.

So far it’s blinded me out of two tournaments the past two months, both times the issue resolving on its own for no apparent reason.

I’ve submitted a ticket and never heard back the first time, so I’m posting here now.

Does anyone have this issue?

Hi ! If you can PM us the details of the tournament in question we can take a look at it for you.

This glitch has been happening to me on/off for as long as I can remember. I figured out this process to fix it. You will likely still miss a hand, but once you do this a few times you can get back in relatively quickly.

  1. When your tournament becomes unresponsive, go back to ignition homepage by typing the address in safari address bar
  2. Log out and log back in
  3. Click into “poker”
  4. When you go into the poker menu, it will automatically seat you into the tournament, but it will still be unresponsive.
  5. Go back to ignition homepage again by typing address
  6. Click “poker”
  7. Now when you go back in, it should NOT auto seat you the second time. Go into the tournament you’re playing via the tournament schedule and click “take seat”. It should now work. For some reason it only seems to fix it when you manually take your seat vs when you’re auto seated.

I should add that I originally reported this issue in Oct 2020 in this thread: https://forum.ignitioncasino.eu/t/tables-software-freezing-midgame/11081/38

I also had an extensive PM discussion with Matt sharing additional details. The current problem reported by the OP is the same issue still occurring.

I’ve had similar experiences. Have you ever had your Holecards stay facedown entire time without ability to see your cards until hand got mucked?? Another time, I was chip leader and got kicked off and could not get back to table… I was blinded out one shy of the money.

I tried similar workarounds and none worked.

Finally, I just captured video showing that it was not my connection as when lagging was occurring, I opened A new tab and website and YouTube ALL worked perfectly. Reps don’t even pretend to look at video before they tell you no since they don’t see disconnection.

If game shows disconnection then reps are good with replacement. My issue is, I play mostly jackpot SnG and missing couple blinds, hands or minutes can make huge difference in who wins.

There is a state of connection and disconnection and but there is a third state Where your connected but have the same functions as if disconnected and lose games due to software/server but we don’t get replacement for that. I understand in a deep tournament, it may not be a big deal but sng game any disruption is fatal and should be replaced.
