Jackpot sit n go not paying out jackpot

Just to add, hit a couple 120x on $7 and a 240x a $2. Probably 4 total over the last 3 years

Enlighten me then

Read this sentence out loud and educate me on what these words mean

“The jackpot prize pool amount that was decided randomly at the beginning of this game was $120,000“

Ive told you before.

The jackpot is ALWAYS the jackpot, on the wheel. $120,000 will always be the top prize.

Then, the actual amount, in this case, $200 is listed on the wheel with the $120,000.

They are only stating that the jackpot amount was indeed $120,000 because youre playing the $100 buy in game, while listing the odds to hit that jackpot.

The final value was $200, a 2x, with the odds of hitting that total.

Nowhere in that email did they state the total value was suppose to be the jackpot, nor did they escalate anything…

You need to relax, look at it for what it is, and just let this go, because youre going to give yourself undo stress and frustration over an expectation that you think you should have had, based on the animated reel loading a few seconds too slow and switching to the actual game a few seconds too fast.

I can tell based on just how the reel looks that it wasnt a jackpot or even a lower multiplier hit, based on the common reel graphics.

@Mcdowem I have to agree with that  I won’t pick sides on whether or not it was the jackpot but I will tell you that’s pretty much impossible to prove and lately they haven’t made things right even when the issue is very clear so all you will get out of chasing this is wasted time and even more frustration

The reel stopped with the numbers $120,000 centered I was too excited to get the perfect screenshot of that.

This email says the decided prize pool for the tournament I was playing in was randomly decided to be $120,000 at the beginning of the game. The reel spinning is the beginning of the game

This follow up email says they are escalating the case to a specialist team.

And the “escalation” is going to tell you the same thing I told you. The reel never stopped on the $120,000, if it did, you would know it. But you’re not telling me ANYTHING to indicate the special graphical animation it does when it does hit he jackpot. It only looked like it did because there was latency from the time the reel graphic started, and the timer ran out because the game was already in progress, so it didn’t show the spin back upward to the $200.

I don’t know what else to tell you dude, I’m trying the best I can to get thru to you that this is a nothingburger. You’re still repeating the jackpot prize pool sentence, you’re not understanding what I’m saying in regards to that, or you’re just not letting yourself understand.

@SoloAsylum this kinda does change things as they clearly did admit it and he has it in writing… Still wouldn’t get my hopes up to be honest but after seeing the email he just sent I’d be fighting it too

However I’m certain they’re going to say what they said in the email was incorrect

Well, I can’t contribute anything further into this, I still say it’s improperly worded English, as there are 2 distinctions between Jackpot Prize Pool and just Prize when talking about the 2.

I know how crappy it lags when jackpot sit and go’s are loaded into a browser, so I know there’s absolutely no way it landed on $120,000 based on the screenshot.

Yea that’s what I meant when I said they’re going to say what they said in the email was incorrect

I’d still fight it, not with any idea that they’d actually honor what they said but definitely deserves something… Though they have a tendency to not do things they certainly should do and have a bad habit of doing things they shouldn’t :man_shrugging:

Yep, Ignition’s moral compass has definitely lost some of it’s magnetism over the last year or so, quite sad.

Honestly it’s not even as a whole Ignition support is just hit or miss

True enough, support is usually fine, but still the company isn’t the same as it was last year. Let alone what it was a few years ago. They’ve blown money on stupid sponsorships like the Gumball series, completely shut down giving anyone any kind of customer service bonuses anymore that aren’t contingent on deposits, spent very little effort or money in getting the poker software in any better shape. Not very often a site has software with the same back-end as it did 5 years ago, the same flaws it did 5 years ago, just with a polished table layout turd of an update. It wasn’t long ago, or at least within the last year, they added the bubble popping animation to the tournaments, can’t recall the last time I’ve seen it actually work the past 4 or 6 months.

Just stuff that makes me shake my head and sad, as I always had a soft spot for this site, but the issues are just getting too annoying to deal with anymore.

Like right now, the site is going through a pretty bad lag… So we know there’s gonna be issues later tonight that people are gonna be talking about.

I can’t make any sense of why they even did that, seemed like Calvin Ayre was shoving his secret obsession down Ignition’s throat

Thanks for mentioning that, that lag almost me made time out after betting nearly all my chips with a full house I would’ve been pissed… looks like it’s time for a break today before I deal with more issues

I don’t know why I’m even wasting my time discussing this with you. You clearly didn’t even read the post.

The reel was never lagging and slowly stopped spinning with $120,000 centered on the wheel which indicates the prize pool for this game was decided at $120,000 in the beginning and the email from the host team said $120,000 was the decided jackpot in the beginning. I was so damn excited at the time that the screenshot didn’t come out as the perfect picture of the centered $120,000 amount.

If you’re playing reels and wheels XL and hit a jackpot spin then the jackpot wheel stops on the Vegas jackpot but you get paid out for the Mini Jackpot is that not a valid reason to say that the game was not paid out properly?

If I was truly crying wolf about this and the jackpot spinner never stopped at $120,000 the host team wouldn’t escalate this case above them

Because the reel would have a certain animation if it hit that jackpot, and you would know it did.

Lag is a thing on browsers with ignition. Sorry, but youre wasting your own time. The host team always escalates things beyond the first initial contact.

Lol okay I’m done discussing this. You’re just saying things that don’t make sense now

4 days later I have received another response about this case. The justification for this tournament not being played for the same prize pool that was determined by the spinning reel was false and I have proof this.

I have been a long time customer of ignition and I have played many jack pot sit n go tournaments. I’m well aware of how rare a top jackpot game is and how the reel often pretends like it is going to hit the top jackpot. I have never made a false claim about a missed payout and in this situation there truly was a missed payout in the amount of $99,800.

I moved forward with contacting the dispute resolution office because the conclusion of the case was invalid. It’s a long read but I wanted to share this in the event the other two players of this tournament might read the post and can verify the prize pool determined on their reel was also the $120,000 jackpot.

Hello,

I am reaching out today to dispute the prize pool payout for a $100 jackpot sit n go tournament 53953546 which started at 1:28pm Pacific Standard Time on 10/20/2022 in which I placed 1st.

When this game began the reel spun and randomly decided the prize pool. The amount that was decided at the beginning of this game was $120,000. There was no graphic lag or connection issues at the time of this tournament. I know how the reel which decides the prize pool in these tournaments often pretends like the prize pool is going to settle on $120,000 then quickly changes back to $200 before beginning the game.

For this tournament 53953546 the reel DID NOT change back to $200 prior to starting the game. The reel completed it’s spin with $120,000 as the decided prize pool and then the game began. This game did not register as the correct prize pool and defaulted to the minimum prize pool of $200

I then placed first in this tournament 53953546 and was only awarded $200 for 1st place when the prize pool that was decided at the start of the game was $120,000 and 1st place should have been paid out $100,000.

I was trying to resolve this issue internally via contacting customer support, Ignition forum moderators and the ignition Hosted team but information I received back was inaccurate and contradicting.

Response from Ignition Host team on 10/21/2022 at 7:10am via Patrick of the hosted team. Patrick gave me the details of this tournament along with facts of the $100 Jackpot Sit n Go tournament which confirmed the information I was providing about the issue for tournament 53953546.

  • Congratulated me on placing 1st in this tournament = DETAIL
  • The Jackpot Prize pool that was randomly decided in the beginning of this game was $120,000 = DETAIL
  • There is a 1 in 100,000 chance of winning the $120,000 = FACT
  • Based on my winnings the end of the game showed I hit a 2x multiplier = DETAIL
  • On the prize pool table shows a 2x multiplier is $200 which has a 74,995 in 100,000 chance = FACT

These details and facts confirm that tournament 53953546 did not pay out correctly. The prize pool table shows that a decided prize pool of $120,000 should have had a 1200 multiplier and the first place prize for a 1200 multiplier is $100,000.

Upon further inquiry about this payout error to the host team I received a response that was not accurate and did not explain why the rules of the Jackpot Sit n Go tournament were not being followed.

The host team said they can confirm the jackpot prize pool on the table was $200 which is the problem. The jackpot prize pool decided by the reel was $120,000. The prize pool that was played for in this tournament was not the prize pool that was decided by the spinning reel.

The host team then said that the reason the spinning reel decided a prize pool of $120,000 and then the game was played with a prize pool of $200 was because I was disconnected for the first 3 hands of the game.

This is not correct. I captured the best screenshot of the reel deciding a prize pool of $120,000 that I could. I was so excited that the reel finally stopped at $120,000 I couldn’t get the perfect screen shot but I came very close. I then took a screenshot of the opening deal of the tournament which decides which player starts the tournament as the dealer.

I also reviewed my hand history and the first hand of this tournament I CHECK the FLOP, CHECK the RIVER and CHECK the TURN. I played the entire first hand of this game. I then opened another browser to try contacting support about the issue with this tournament deciding a prize pool of $120,000 and only playing a prize pool of $200 which is what resulted in temporarily being disconnected from the table and the hand history shows I left the table.

This was simply not true that I was disconnected for the first 3 hands of the game.

When I tried contacting support I realized at this time the jackpot sit n go tournaments are too fast paced to contact customer support in the middle of the game so I finished the game placed first and then contacted support about this issue.

The host team also said that the agent Patrick seemed confused about the title of “Jackpot Sit & Go - $120K Top Prize” but this does not give any explanation. Patrick simply relayed the information about this tournament to me which confirmed that this tournament 53953546 decided a prize pool of $120,000 via the spinning reel but played out as a prize pool of $200 which was an incorrect payout.

Ignition Casino’s Player Commitment states “We will never miss a payout”. This $100 Jackpot Sit in Go tournament WAS a missed payout. I should have been paid out $100,000 but was paid out $200 which is a missed payout of $99,800.

I have attached the following documents as proof that this tournament 53953546 was not paid out correctly:

  • Screenshot of the reel deciding a prize pool of $120,000
  • Screenshot showing the opening deal of the game to decide which player is the dealer (proof that I was NOT disconnected in the beginning of the game)
  • Screenshot of me placing first in the tournament and being awarded $200 when the first place award should have been $100,000 (Missed payout of $99,800)
  • Screenshots showing the details and exact time these screenshots were taken. The reel deciding a prize pool of $120,000 was 7 seconds before the opening card being dealt which is proof I never lost connection because I would not have been able to reconnect and capture the screenshot in 7 seconds.
  • Screenshot of the hand history for this tournament showing the tournament started at the exact time I took a screenshot of the first card being dealt
  • Screenshot of the hand history for the first hand of the tournament that I played and was fully connected to the river of the first hand before temporarily leaving to contact customer support.
  • Screenshots of the rules of the Jackpot Sit n Go tournament confirming the spinning reel determines the prize pool in the beginning of the game along with the prize pool table of what SHOULD have been paid underlined in green and what WAS paid underlined in red.
  • Screenshot of Ignition Casino’s Player Commitment
  • Screenshots of responses from the host team.

Please honor the proper payout as the reel decided that prize pool of $120,000.
