Jackpot sit n go not paying out jackpot

I need help understanding this.

There was an error on a prize pool payout for a $100 jackpot sit n go tournament.

On 10/20/2022 at 1:28pm pacific standard time I entered a $100 jackpot sit n go tournament. The wheel graphic prior to the tournament spins and slowly stops with a centered amount of $120,000. I was able to capture the best screenshot I could of this before the game started.

The rules for jack pot sit n go clearly state.

“Once three players register, a spinning reel determines the randomized prize pool, which just makes things even more exciting.”

The tournament then begins after having the reel stopped and centered on $120,000 but the prize pool is only $200.

I placed first in this tournament and was awarded only $200. Based on the rules of jackpot sit n go. The reel determined a prize pool of $120,000 and I placed first so I should have been awarded $100,000.

I was overwhelming excited when the jackpot reel stopped at $120,000 and I placed first. This amount of money could change my life.

I have contacted support through both email and chat and the response I just keep getting is “You didn’t win a jackpot you won $200”.

How is this fair? The rules of the game say the spinning reel determines the prize pool in the beginning which in this situation was determined as $120,000. Since I placed first I should have been awarded $100,000.

The game just decided not to payout the jackpot and the response I just keep getting is basically no you only won $200.

I feel cheated out of thousands of dollars that would change my life……

It always acts like it’s gonna stop on the jackpot and then goes back to 2x the bet.

But it legitimately did stop on $120,000. I just couldn’t get a perfect centered screenshot

You can tell in your screenshot that the jackpot isn’t set. The wheel is still moving. Obviously wish you would’ve hit the jackpot but it always does this. It teases you by showing the jackpot and then the wheel goes back to 2x. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone ever actually playing for one…. I’ve probably played 1000 sng jackpots and never seen anything more than 5x payout.

The very next screen shows it only being $200 at the top of the table though. Not rooting against you obviously I’m just telling you it teases that jackpot almost every sng

I couldn’t get the perfect screenshot of it because the game immediately started after the reel stopped spinning. I’ve played a ton of jackpot Sit n Go and I know how it always teases you with the top jackpot but this time it legitimately stopped on the top jackpot and I almost had a heart attack but the game didn’t register as a top jackpot game

Well hopefully it works out for you man. I never seen one for more than 5x and I’ve legit played 1000+ of them.

I never have seen one pay out of 5x either. But this is also the first time I’ve had the reel stop on this

I will say that the sng’s have been lagging lately so maybe it just seemed like it stopped there and then glitched out to table immediately? Idk. But def rooting for you. Good luck.

Definitely haven’t heard of any big wins lately by anyone. I’m starting to think the jackpots are a sham. Would love to hear someone actually hitting something BIG!

Update.

I just got an email from the host team confirming there was an error.

“The jackpot prize pool amount that was decided randomly at the beginning of this game was $120,000. There is a 1 in 100,000 chances for you to win the $120,000.”

They then follow up to say

“Based your winnings at the end of the game you hit the multiplier 2 that shows on the table called All New Sit & Go Buy-in: $100.”

The prize pool was determined as $120,000. First place should have been paid out $100,000

What am I missing? I hit the jackpot? If the prize pool for “this game” was determined as $120,000

First place should have been awarded $100,000 not $200

I agree that explanation did nothing but add confusion.

One thing I will say is that there is usually a corroletaion between the table color and prize amount in these JPSnGs.

In all images you provided the background is grey, even in the one you claim demonstrates you hit the JP.

Yes, that was where the error occurred. The reel decided at the beginning of this game that the jackpot prize pool was $120,000. This was confirmed by the host team.

But then the game loaded as $200 prize pool.

The game should have loaded as a $120,000 prize pool.

For first place I should have received $100,000 then 2nd and 3rd place should also have received $10,000 each.

You can see on the time of my screenshots the $120,000 winning reel graphic was taken just a few seconds prior to the first hand being dealt.

You’re speaking to people who’s first language isn’t English. The wording of the first sentence only said “the Jackpot that was decided for this spin was $120,000”… Meaning it wasn’t any of the lower levels, it was $120,000… And the chance of hitting it was 1 in xxxx, that they listed in the email.

You kinda need to read between the lines when talking to support.

There was obviously graphical lag, the jackpot sit and go’s, and the poker software in general, have ridiculous problems when loaded in browsers, it’s been documented before. It’s buggy.

You’re not gonna get anything.

@SoloAsylum that was a pretty discriminatory/disrespectful comment towards the ignition team.

This email came from the Ignition Host Team which is a team dedicated towards servicing an exclusive group of invite only VIP members. This email did not come from general customer support. I have spoken with Patrick over the phone in the past and he speaks English just fine. (the member of the host team who wrote this email)

The beginning of this email says,

“I just want to say congratulations on coming first place in THIS tournament.”

“The Jackpot Prize Pool amount that WAS DECIDED randomly at the beginning of THIS game was $120,000. There is a 1 in 100,000 for you to win the $120,000”

This is stating the tournament I won WAS
randomly decided at the beginning to be the tournament with a 1 in 100,000 chance of the $120,000 prize pool.
.
.
2nd part of the email says,

“Based your winnings at the end of the game you hit the multiplier 2. On the table shows that the price for hitting multiplier 2 is $200 which has a 74,995 in 100,000 chance to win”

This is saying that my winnings at the end of the game we’re based on a 2 multiplier with a jackpot prize pool of $200
.
.
.
This is the problem.

THE GAME RANDOMLY DECIDED A PRIZE POOL OF $120,000 AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS GAME A 1 IN 100,000 CHANCE

AT THE END OF THE GAME I HIT A 2X MULTIPLIER WHICH IS THE PAY OUT OF A DECIDED PRIZE POOL OF $200 WITH A CHANCE OF 74,995 IN 100,000.

The prize pool at the beginning of the game was not the same as the prize pool at the end of the game.

What should have happened

$120,000 jackpot prize pool decided at the beginning of the game should be the same at the end of the game $120,000 prize pool. Per the prize pool table the end of the game should have been a 1200x multipler and a first place prize of $100,000 winnings.

What actually happened

The prize pool paid out at the end of the game was a jackpot prize pool of $200 which had a 2x multiplier and a first place prize of $200 winnings. This is not what the jackpot prize pool was decided at the beginning of the game.
.
.
.
THIS MEANS 1 OF 2 THINGS:

  1. The top jackpot tournament isn’t real and even if the jackpot prize pool is randomly decided to be $120,000 at the beginning of the game by the end of the game it will pay out as a $200 prize pool.

  2. There was an error the Jackpot prize pool was randomly decided to be $120,000 at the beginning of the game but this was paid out/registered incorrectly as a $200 prize pool at the end of the game.

There have been prior posts on the forum about poker hands not registering as jackpots and after reaching out to support the issue was resolved.

I believe scenario 2 is what happened. System errors happen. I have been using ignition for years now and I trust that they will correct this issue and honor the proper jackpot payout.

@moderators can you give insight into this?

Not descriminatory at all, its a fact of life with off-shore gambling. What i said, still holds true. In this case then, you’re still reading words in an email and making incorrect assumption of what he meant.

He was telling you the total multiplier jackpot was determined to be $120,000… that it COULD HAVE possibly landed on $120,000… not that it SHOULD have.

It just means the jackpot was $120,000 instead of the lower multiplier jackpots that are available.

There are special graphics on the reel for when the multipliers are hit, when your image even shows werent present.

You got a 2x multiplier, thats it.

Lol you’re just being a troll.

The email said word for word:

“The jackpot prize pool amount that was decided randomly at the beginning of this game was $120,000“

The email is literally just stating the facts about that tournament.

The prize pool was decided at $120,000

The prize was paid out as $200

That’s the problem. The prize pool that was decided was not the prize pool that what was paid out.

It’s been escalated to a specialist team for further review

I’ve gotten to play these and a $7 one with a $105 jackpot over the year or two I’ve been playing… Iseen someone on reddit post about playing in one of the big ones though but even these 15x ones are rare
