Playthrough question for bonuses

Hello all, I have a clarifying question on how the playthrough works for bonuses, specifically when used for MTTs entry. In the past I’ve been pretty cautious about accepting deposit bonuses due to the high playthrough requirements and the fact they’re usually geared towards the casino side of the site.

However, Ignition just offered me a bonus that can be used for poker that doesn’t require a deposit. Since its a total free roll, I want to use it, but also want to understand the playthough first.

This is what it says: “Playthrough Requirements: 35X Casino/15X Miles earned in Poker per dollar”

As stated above, I plan to use this bonus exclusively for MTTs. Can someone please explain how the 15x requirement works?

Also, hypothetically, if I entered a tourney with this bonus, then made a deep run, are my winnings locked up? Say I won $10k, is there a scenario where I could lose the winnings because now I need to playthrough $150k before it’s unlocked?

I will try my best.

Say the bonus is $30. You get 15 miles for $1 in tourney fees. 15X = 450 miles needed. You would need to play 450 10 + 1 tourneys to reach that level (I think). Maybe a mod can explain better.

That explanation pretty much sums it up.

Any winnings that are generated from using Bonus funds won’t be withdrawable until you’ve completed the bonus’ playthrough requirements.

Is there a time limit I would need to hit the playthrough requirement by? In the bonus it says “Expires on Sunday at 12:45”. Does this mean I only have until Sunday before the funds would be lost?

The primary situation I’m concerned about is the hypothetical in my original post. It would really suck to win a tournament then lose a large amount of money because I can’t hit the playthrough in time.

That’s the time you have left to claim the bonus. After you redeem it, there should be a longer time period to be able to complete the playthrough.

Ok. But there is a deadline? Meaning that if I don’t hit the playthrough in time, I would lose any winnings from the bonus?

Yes, if it expires before you complete the playthrough any funds associated with the bonus would be lost.

With that said, I believe that you have around 5 months or so to complete the playthrough before this particular expires.

Last question: In my hypothetical scenario (winning a tourney), would the winnings be unlocked gradually, or do they get unlocked all at once after you meet the playthrough?

In other words, is it all or nothing, or could you still get part of the money even if you don’t hit the full playthrough?

With this particular bonus, all of the funds would be locked until the playthrough is completed.
