Run it twice helps reduce variance and is available on ACR, BOL, GG, etc. It’s also optional so people can choose to turn it down when they go all in. It helps keep the game run longer, encourages people to go all in more often with draws etc knowing they have multiple shots at a portion of the pot, etc…
