Is anyone else getting an error message every other game?! Seriously I get an error message click okay then have to log out open a new tab log back in and get to the tournament and the first hand is always done by the time I do. I’ve contacted customer service who said twice they’ve escalated it and someone will get back to me. Unsurprisingly no one ever did. And I’ve had really good cards I could’ve won with too. This problem is more than annoying it’s expensive. Oh and when I finally got a supervisor they pretty much ignored me then closed the chat! So yeah it’s been great lol
have you tried putting in the correct user ID or password?
It somehow logs out every now and then and I can’t explain how it works except magic either. It knows who you are for account details but it gets amnesia when you try to play poker, especially if you’ve had a long session of poker just before. Like, if you play for an hour and then (lose and) sign up for another one, it’ll let you pay and then it’ll forget who you are in game and make you log out and log in again.
Logging out and then in fixes it.
While I’m here, there’s another inconsistency. If you start with poker (so that you’re in the poker-game url) and then go Casino after, the url never changes back to just ignition dot eu / casino or whatever. This makes it play games from inside the poker url, which breaks things like the lobby button inside of games. This is fixed by closing the tab/browser and going back to the regular splash page.
I’m literally logged in when this happens
I don’t switch to casino. It’s just infuriating because this shouldn’t happen at all and I’m losing hands I would’ve otherwise won
are you on wifi?
Yes I’ve tried WiFi mobile data, every browser and it’s incognito versions cleared cache and cookies multiple devices someone else’s WiFi and still it happens
have you tried some device that is plugged in and is not wifi?
Umm I’ve been playing while my phone is charging if that’s what you mean?
What isn’t WiFi? If I’m home playing my phone is on WiFi. I’ve tried disconnecting from WiFi and using mobile data but that didn’t help either
i play on my computer and i do not use wifi
i have no problems like that
i wonder if you can plug a phone into ethernet and get it off wifi
I have an iPhone I’m not sure I could even plug into Ethernet I don’t have a plug either I’m not sure if I do anyways
USB C to Ethernet Adapter
https://www.amazon.com/Ethernet-Adapter-uni-Thunderbolt-Compatible/dp/B077KXY71Q
turn on airplane mode and use that
oh wait you have an iphone?
not sure if it will work…iphone might have its own.
I think what you two are waltzing around trying to arrive at is that no, when I played on an actual PC with the client it didn’t do the Wrong ID thing. I play now on a tablet with wifi, it’s def a mobile issue.
In some of the screenshots you have multiple tabs open, do you have our website open more than once?
If you’re logged in on two separate browsing sessions, it can cause this error to appear at the tables.
I can confirm that this is a recurring glitch on this site when you play on iOS. I’ve experienced it for at least a year and have been meaning to post it. iPad and iPhone.
I think what’s happening here is that the site somehow loses your authentication after a certain period of time.
It tends to happen after I play for a couple of hours and the game freezes on an all-in (unfortunately still happens quite a bit) or I need to refresh the page for some other reason. After refreshing it, this error pops up and the only way to fix it is to go back to the ignition homepage, log out, and log back in. As the OP stated, this almost always causes you to miss at least 1-2 hands and can be pretty frustrating.
This glitch has happened to me also.
I’ve experienced this, too. It’s a bummer when you join a sit-n-go, but then the game starts and you have to re-log in again – often causing you to miss the first hand or two.
The WORST is when you log back in and see your AA hand folded cuz you weren’t there.
I understand if the client goes idle if you haven’t been active, but it shouldn’t let you sign up for a table in that case – you should have to re-log on before you can join.
I’ve had it happen several times also
