Correct Answers:

  1. Fold: Even though the hand has a lot of outs to improve, both to two pair and to a straight, a lot of the Cutoff’s range has improved. Plus, the average player will be unable to find enough bluffs to balance his range in this spot.

The bottom of the calling range should be stronger pair + draw hands (such as QT, JT, T8 or 98) and stronger one pairs (such as K6 or AT).

  2. Bet: At this juncture in the hand, your current hand lacks any potential for a showdown victory. As previously mentioned, players at micro stakes tend to be more inclined to fold easily in these minor pots. This particular hand presents an excellent opportunity for a bluff, as it has the potential to force opponents to fold hands such as A-highs, 5x, pocket pairs 88 and lower, and possibly even weaker 9x hands.
