Recent Poker Bonus

Good morning - I recently joined Ignition and signed up for your Poker Bonus with a $100 Deposit. It is unclear to me a) how I can achieve this bonus, and b) if I were to opt out of this bonus how much of my original deposit + winnings to date I would lose. Help please.

You have to play through your initial deposit by some multiplier. I would go to the help page. Itā€™s something like 50x your deposit to get the bonus. You have to play that deposit in cash games or tournaments to get to it. It comes slow but if you play a lot of cash, you will eventually get to it. By forfeiting the bonus, it will only take away the bonus you got as you probably have not played with any bonus funds yet. You play through your money before getting to the bonus money. If you already blew your initial deposit amount, forfeiting bonus would probably leave you with nothing. Hope this helps. Check out the rewards terms on the ignition home page for more.

Welcome to the forum @asutter68.

In your Rewards page, youā€™ll be able to find all of your bonusesā€™ information along with the T&C and the rollover requirements. If you forfeit a bonus, you will only lose any bonus funds that you might have.

Now, I can see that youā€™ve actually selected a Casino bonus instead of the Poker one so in order to achieve playthrough, youā€™d need to play on Casino. Iā€™m going to check on the details of your specific bonus and Iā€™ll PM you shortly with more information.

Hello, I recently signed up for Ignition Poker and attempted to get the Poker Welcome Bonus, but somehow ended up with the Casino Welcome Bonus instead. This was disappointing, of course, because I play poker, not casino games.

I have a bigger concern, however. I am fine with just forfeiting the bonus, but Iā€™m concerned about the fine print on forfeiting procedures. I have been fortunate enough to win some money playing poker, will I lose my winnings if I forfeit the bonus? Or will I just lose my bonus money but keep my original deposit + winnings?

Thank you in advance for any clarification on this!

@bjw_123, Welcome to the Forum.

Weā€™ve moved your post here as it relates to this topic as well.

Weā€™re also going to PM you regarding this issue, but the above rules do apply to you as well.

Hello Foster,

Thank you for your prompt reply to my post, I appreciate that. So if I understand what is explained above, if I forfeit my bonus, I will lose my bonus funds, but not the money I deposited and have won since I started playing a couple of weeks ago.

I have one more related question: according to my account, I have bonus money and ā€œlocked fundsā€ money. When I forfeit my bonus, will the locked funds become unlocked? I donā€™t have any intention of withdrawing money anytime soon, but I donā€™t want to be left in a situation where my funds are forever locked with no way of ever retrieving them. Can you please explain what will happen with these ā€œlocked fundsā€?

Thank you,
bjw

That is correct, once you forfeit the bonus the ā€˜Lockedā€™ funds will become withdrawable and you would be able to take them out as you please. The specifics are mentioned in the PM we sent you previously.
