The item "IgnitionCasino.exe." has been changed or moved

I’ve had this problem come up before and i had to uninstall the program and reinstall it. It worked for a couple days and now the message is appearing again.

Anything i can do instead of having to uninstall and reinstall the program every couple days? So far the site has been great other than this issue.

Everytime i click on the app i get the “The item “IgnitionCasino.exe” that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved, so this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete this shortcut?”

Thanks for any help on this.

It is likely the Windows antivirus incorrectly flagging Ignition.

  • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection.

  • Under Virus & threat protection settings, select Manage settings, and then under Exclusions, select Add or remove exclusions.

  • Select Add an exclusion, and then select the Ignition folder C:\Program Files(x86)\Ignition Casino Poker

@beam502 Was the anti virus exclusion a fix or is it still happening?

I went to settings but couldn’t find it? I ended up just uninstalling and reinstalling again and it seems to be working for now.

I think I couldn’t find it because I run mcafe and not windows defender. I’ll try looking in the mcafe settings and see if I can find it if it happens again.
Thanks for the quick response. I really appreciate it!

If you can’t find it yourself I’m sure there are tons of articles/forums that will walk you through how to add exclusions on Mcafe (if I recall correctly it’s under real-time scanning —> excluded files).

Even though your running 3rd Party antivirus Id still make sure that any pre-installed OEM software isn’t running in the background as well

Yes, Mcaffee will do this all the time.

The file being quarantined is actually liveupdatelog.log. The next time you open the client, the software deletes ignitioncasino.exe. They added an AV from china (cloud supported AV detection’s).

If you have done a fresh install, and it has not been quarantined yet, Go in McAfee and click the settings button in far right hand corner. Click on real time scanning, and exclude (by clicking add file and navigating) iveupdatelog.log and Lobby.exe. If You can also check quarantined items under settings, and see if iveupdatelog.log is in there for the date of last bomb.

If you get the error again, just reinstall, and exclude the above files.
