To see that my birthday bonus was dropped from $500 to $250 this year. Playthrough was changed from 1x to 5x AND it can no longer be used for poker
Same happened to me. Very disappointed. I had a month off from playing due to death over 4th of July weekend and my play decreased, wasn’t in the mood. Feel like my yearly game play more than qualified me for $500. C’est la vie!

Sorry for the disappointment, however there was some changes regarding birthday bonuses.
I’m curious as to why you say that you are sorry @Sarah ? Why even put that word in your comment reminding us players that Ignition is continuing to strip away any perks players got for years?
Do you actually feel bad that players who look forward to those bonuses are disappointed? Sorry that we feel entitled to free stuff that Ignition has no obligation to provide for free?
I just read that like a sarcastic jab at the two people in this thread, while doing what support does best (repeat Ignitions policies instead of adding a thoughtful response to a customer complaint), so I’m curious what exactly you are so sorry about that you had to post it here for us to read?

I believe she was simply stating that she was sorry for their disappointment for not getting the same amount of rewards. Perhaps you read this a different way, but we can assure you that it was simply a measure of empathy.
Is there any information available regarding when and what changes occurred.
Its somewhat a slap in the face considering playthrough is in the millions to reach such level and for most it takes years to get there.

Ultimately this was always a review item and discretionary. While it is promised to be reviewed for platinum members and above, it was never a guaranteed bonus. the only guarantee was that players get reviewed after platinum level and above on their birthday. As their was no previous exact number of what players would receive there was nothing to be communicated.
The changes that Sarah is referring to were more in the way that this bonus was reviewed and is an internal issue.

They have no explanation for anything, I have now been told that only select players can join the crypto exclusive and I apparently am not one of those. This is after months of trying to join have help desk try to sign me up then finally was told, oh its just not offered to everyone.

Birthday bonuses are being issued automatically to all players who’ve reached Platinum level. Unfortunately, players below that level are not eligible for it.
“And if you make it up to Platinum (Level 6), you’ll be eligible to receive Birthday Bonuses on top of your regular Ignition Miles.”

This is simply an opinion, though I’m sorry if you feel that way as well. I would ask what you would prefer she stated instead. If she had just said ‘there was some changes regarding birthday bonuses’ would this be any better? You can believe there was no level of empathy here, but ultimately Sarah was just having a bit of empathy in relation to the disappointment the player felt.

@OsamaTheLlama as someone that’s had chat support literally call me names in spanish thinking I didn’t know spanish I can say the mods on the forum are pretty friendly so I doubt she meant it as a “jab”

Well I am a diamond member and have been for years and my birthday was on august 3 and I’ve made 20 calls and told promotion is on it really disappointed on this one guys I’m so loyal to this site makes me sad
