Note that there is no other half or rest owed to you. The screenshot above clearly showed that this was an exception and not something that was guaranteed or provided to everyone. Matt seems to have reviewed and decided that the player in question deserved more but this was actually not something they should have done, and they are no longer with us or would be advised against doing this in the future. There is no set amount you receive for a birthday bonus, it is at the discretion of the program team.

No one has been cheated or jipped out of anything. The player above received an exception they likely shouldn’t have and this won’t be something we’ll be able to give to anyone else unfortunately.

Nash I can’t get a birthday bonus? I got one last year. Show some love bro.

Note that these are offered to platinum level or above players. as you’re in Gold this isn’t something you’re eligible for sadly.

Matt did the correct thing every year i receieve 500 in play with 1x rollover ,its unfair if they just change things when they feel like it without updating the players , there jobs depend on us the players.

We cannot advise you on the amount you will receive, but it will be issued automatically on your birthday providing you are eligible.

There is no need to update an account sensitive reward and nothing has changed. There never was any amount guaranteed to you. Basing what you receive on what you received last year is not correct. There was no set amount then, nor now. Matt did provide you an exception, but again this was an exception and not something guaranteed nor something that we’ll be providing going forward unfortunately.

At one point, and for a long time, Ignition advertised the amounts that were awarded for tier level birthday bonus’.

These were milestone rewards that enticed players to reach said tiers. This program was changed with complete disregard for the people who spent time and money to reach said tier. While I dont agree with the change it is a business decision ignition made.

Whats astonishing about your stance is the complete disregard to aknowledge any sort of change, as if we all suffer from amnesia.

This speaks volumes when it comes to the character of ignition as a company.

I’ve worked here for about 3-4 years and in all the time I’ve been here this hasn’t been the case. The only mention of this is on the rewards page as the following:

If it was previously stated as a specific bonus then it would have been obviously provided as stated at the time, but this certainly isn’t a recent change and not really what we’re talking about here. The issue above happened as recently as this Summer, not over 4 years ago.

Certainly a few months ago this was not the case. So again, what I’ve stated above is still valid. To state that this says anything about our character is a bit misleading. Not being aware of a bonus change that happened a very long time ago isn’t not acknowledging anything. Most of the players above and the one I was replying to haven’t even had accounts past the last few years. What you’re stating doesn’t even apply as at no point would they ever have had access to the changes or specified benefits you’re discussing above. The entire time they’ve had their account it has worked as it does now.

I’m sorry if for someone like yourself who’s been around a long time this was at one time actually detailed and then changed. However, this doesn’t really apply to this situation as we’re discussing what is currently owed to players based on an exception that happened less than a year ago.
