Withdrawal Delays

We understand your frustration here and sharing your sentiment. Sadly, there’s nothing much we can do further as the funds are already sent to the wallet. You’d need to check with the provider.

Ummmm you’re the provider lol. The problem is the way YOU sent it. I know there is nothing you can do now. The damage is already done. It’s what you could’ve done when you sent it. The blockchain has a recommended transaction fee depending on the volume. It was 20 satoshis per byte at the time of my withdrawal and in the last 4 days it hasn’t gone below 15 at any given point. You sent it with 11 satoshis per byte.

Like I said in my previous post. There have been over 2 million transactions sent to the blockchain AFTER mine that have been confirmed. So yes the blockchain is busy and congested but the real delay is due to the sender not the blockchain.

I know it is what it is and there’s nothing anyone can do at this point but it’s quite frustrating to think that if only $0.71 extra in transaction fees was paid I could’ve had my withdrawal 4 days ago.

Almost a week later and almost 3 million transactions have been sent to the blockchain AFTER my withdrawal and I’ve basically made zero progress in the queue. I still don’t understand why ignition would’ve sent my transaction to the blockchain with a ridiculously low fee. At this rate it won’t be confirmed for another 2-3 weeks :rage:

So I’m told, it was a standard fee that we sent, but due to the network getting congestion which is not something we could have predicted, it did cause problems. We have increased the fee now in light of this, but unfortunately have no control over transactions that have already been sent I’m afraid.

Thanks for the fast response Davy as always  Its still a little confusing to me though because there were already 210K unconfirmed transactions on the blockchain when my withdrawal was processed. There’s 225K right now. At the time of my withdrawal the recommended fee was 19 sat/b. Mine was sent with only 11.2 for some reason. So that’s not exactly the standard fee if it was little more than half of what the blockchain was recommending.

It’s likely going to take another week or two for this withdrawal to be confirmed now because of that. I mean obviously it is what it is and there’s nothing anyone can do now at this point but it’s obviously quite frustrating as well.

Apologies for the inconvenience here, if there was something I could do to help, I would.
But this situation is out of our hands I’m afraid. Let’s just hope they get confirmed sooner rather than later.

Thanks Davy

It’s been almost 2 weeks since I’ve requested a Bitcoin withdrawal. That’s extremely excessive!!

Same. It’s because for some reason they choose to process all the bitcoin transactions that week with a fee that was much lower than what was recommended by the blockchain so we’re screwed and it’s gonna take forever! :rage: What’s the sat/b fee they used for yours?

I’ll check on that and get back to you. Can’t they still pay a higher fee to push the transactions through quicker though??

No I checked. They don’t use RBF(replace by fee) option so we’re basically screwed and have to pray that the volume on the blockchain slows down tremendously so the miners can catch up. But mine has been on the blockchain for 8 days and I have made basically zero progress in the queue. 3.5 million transactions have come in after mine and have already been confirmed because they had the appropriate transaction fee.

10 days and my transaction is still pending in my wallet, this is unacceptable in so many ways, I really can’t believe ignition is doing this to us, what if it stays stuck for months??? fook me? 2023 and I’m sitting here typing about how ignition cant even properly withdrawal funds to its players, sickening.

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience, however, this is out of our hands. We increased the fee after the issue occurred, sadly we’re unable to change it on already sent out transactions.

Yes, it is out of your hands now, but the problem occurred when it was in your hands and like I said before that’s great that now moving forward the fees have been increased but that doesn’t do anything for those of us that will have to wait several weeks before our transactions are confirmed.

I still don’t understand why my transaction was sent to the blockchain with a fee that was far lower than the recommended fee. I know y’all weren’t just trying to be cheap because you don’t even deduct the fee that you’re charged for sending btc. But literally only $0.70 more and I would’ve had my withdrawal 9 days ago. It’s a little aggravating to say the least.

These were the fees that we were sending the transactions with in the past. We of course never intended for our players to have this kind of issues. Network congestion may occur in the future as well. Hopefully new fees will avert any inconveniences.

@Nicolas, So what if this takes couple more weeks? What if it takes over a month? I’m just out of luck and have to deal with it?

Those funds are not lost, they’ll hit your wallet eventually. I hope it’ll be faster than a month or even couple more weeks.

Well it’s been 10 days already and I’ve made basically zero progress in the queue so yes it’s very likely it’s going to be few more weeks……Man you guys really dropped the ball here. This is extremely disappointing. :disappointed:

I just got information that transactions after 14 days will deem “Dropped” and reprocessed again so you can receive your funds. This should be counted from the moment it was sent to the network.

I know the default time is 14 days but I’ve also heard that nodes can be set higher and can rebroadcast the transaction so there is no longer an exact time or a guarantee that they will be dropped but hopefully the 14 days is accurate because that will likely come before a confirmation.
